Mini Denim Matt is a Spanish porcelain pool tile in a soft, lived-in blue, made in a slim 50x150mm subway format. Its matt surface and zellige-style character give it a relaxed, handcrafted feel that sits comfortably in both classic and contemporary pools.
Under water, a denim blue like this reads as a calm, classic pool blue, keeping the water looking fresh without turning too dark. It makes an attractive waterline band, and also works well on steps, spa walls and water features where you want a detail that draws the eye. Because it is suitable for floors as well as pools, it can carry through to pool floors and step treads for a consistent finish.
These are individual 9mm tiles with a non-rectified edge rather than mosaic sheets, so they suit straight runs and crisp lines, laid in a stacked, brick or herringbone pattern. Blue can shift noticeably once submerged, so it is worth ordering a sample to test in water before you commit.
