The Mini Terracotta Matt is a 50x150mm porcelain subway tile in a warm, earthy terracotta. It is made in Spain and suitable for use in pools. The matt surface and 9mm porcelain body give it a grounded, tactile look that stands apart from the usual pool blues.
Under water, terracotta pulls the colour of the pool toward warm, sandy and golden tones rather than bright blue, which suits Mediterranean, rustic or resort style designs. It works well as a waterline band, on step edges and risers, around a spa or behind a water feature, where the warm colour frames the water. The compact rectangular format lays in neat straight lines, so it suits geometric pools, square spas and linear features better than tight curves.
Each box covers 0.55 m², which keeps planning your quantities simple. Terracotta can read quite differently once submerged, so ordering a sample to test in water is worthwhile before you commit.
